Max Siegelman, son of the harness racing trainer Robbie Siegelman, is now expanding the family empire with the iconic Siegelman Stable seal and fusing the world of harness racing and ready to wear introducing a line of unisex sportswear.
The allure of the equestrian realm is nothing new in the sense it has stood the test of time and its reputation in the world of fashion precedes itself. Max has lent his skills in creating appealing marketing and collaborative strategies working with Kanye West, Virgil Abloh, Brandon Marshall and has expanded his reach in collaborations with brands such as Russell Athletics, Hypebeast and more. As Founder and Creative Director of the Siegelman Stable brand, Max was initially inspired by a red vintage satin cap that belonged to his grandfather. He also inherited a jacket that remains a frequently worn piece. The first official Siegelman Stable collection will feature a variety of staples including caps, crewnecks, totes, and more. While creating something for the public it has been important to him to immerse the values of his family into this venture. Combining his skills and resources, Max is starting off this new venture with a good cause, a collaboration with Philadelphia’s Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club. Max is inspired by his father's passion for what he does and how he has harnessed that passion to help others. Growing up there was always a heavy focus on bettering communities wherever possible with the power and impact of the relationship between man and horse. Following in his family's footsteps by giving back, a portion of the proceeds will go to equine therapy, a cause close to the family which supports veterans and nurses with PTSD and 100% of proceeds from the Urban Riding Cub Tee will go to Fletch Street Stables to support the continuation of their programs.
