Latina Entrepreneur Nancy Rosales Uses Her Passion and Profession To Fulfill Her Purpose Of Empowering Others

And Nancy is on her mission to help other businesses achieve success by sharing her experience and expertise with them. Nancy Rosales came from humble beginnings in Watsonville, California, and was raised by her migrant farmworker parents from Zacatecas, Mexico. Growing up, Nancy was not one to live a very comfortable life, and she knew she wanted to change this. Bringing her roll-up-sleeves and get-it-done attitude with her, Nancy sought the world of broadcasting.

She worked her way to getting a BA in Broadcast Journalism at San Francisco State University. After that, Nancy worked as an editor, reporter, account executive and television producer with media outlets like Univision, KRON4, and Azteca US. She was known for being a news editor and one-woman band reporter for the English show “Latin Eyes,” and Executive Creator of Corazon Musical on Azteca America.

Nancy realized that she wanted to do something else. As such, she began exploring the entrepreneurial industry. In 2007, she started a retail business with her sister and opened Pepito’s Ice Cream. Things were going well at first before the economic crash of 2008 made her lose their business. However, Nancy is not one to quit after falling. Instead, she sought a way to make her dream work. Nancy studied a web-based model and adopted commercial manufacturing for direct-to-consumer operations. But then something else was missing. And so, Nancy innovated a unique and biodegradable packaging for their healthy Mexican paletas or ice pops, allowing their product to stay frozen for up to 8 hours.

Nancy has joined the “Inspire Higher Tour” in 2014 created by Silicon Valley Latino. And since then, with her sister, Christie Rosales, she has been touring with the New York Extreme Entrepreneurship company to inspire young entrepreneurs. Her innovative approach in business won her the Latina Empresaria Hall of Fame 2019 Award from the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Now that Nancy has expertise in media and retail, she thought, “Why not combine these skills to create something bigger?” And so, E.A.S.Y Video Success was born. Through this, she provides her expertise and acts as a consultant. Nancy offers online courses and one-on-one coaching to guide them on how to use videos for bringing everyone’s stories to life and promoting their businesses through video.

Her innovations and remarkable business practices were recognized, and Nancy has since received numerous honors and awards like the Latina Style Magazine Entrepreneur of the Year. She was featured in various magazine covers like the Red Social Hispana Magazine, Univision 14 – International Women’s Day feature. These are things Nancy never imagined to achieve two decades earlier.

Nancy’s exemplary background makes her who she is today. But what Nancy prides the most on, is fulfilling her purpose of inspiring helping others. Nancy shares the success of Pepito’s Paletas with other minority women by allowing them to benefit from the profits of the co-op business. For Nancy, it is more than business but rather a community and looking out for one another is at the core of it.

With her success in journalism, media, and business, Nancy also launched NR Consulting, where she offers professional services as an independent strategic media consultant. Moreover, she authored Amazons #1 Hot New Release Chapter in Money Matters, entitled The Power of M.A.S.S. Through this, she wishes to impart to business owners to become a business of their own, before starting one up. Having experienced what it feels to build herself from the ground up, Nancy dedicates herself to helping other entrepreneurs and small businesses through solutions guided by her 13 years of experience and over 18 years of video knowledge.

Nancy Rosales aspires to become the change she wanted in the world. And she hopes that her success as a Latina minority serves as an inspiration to the Latinx community always to keep pushing forward.
